Highlights of Condo

Transport Network
The Myst Condo is approximately 500 m or 6 to 7 minutes’ walk away from the Cashew MRT Station. This undergrounded MRT station is situated at between the intersection of the Bukit Batok and Bukit Panjang Planning areas. This MRT station started its operations on the end of 2015 and is designated to serve the residents living in the private residential enclave that along the stretch of Upper Bukit Timah.

The Cashew MRT Station is one of the MRT stations that is serving the operations of the MRT Downtown Line. This MRT service line is of medium capacity and serves the Bukit Panjang estate that is located in the North-western zone to the Expo MRT Interchange Station that is located in the east side of the island by passing through the Central region of Singapore. This fully undergrounded MRT service line is the fifth one to be added to Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit network. As of current, this MRT service line is approximately 42 km in length and with operations at 34 MRT Stations.

This MRT service line is also currently constructing its extension to the Sungei Bedok area and the MRT station is scheduled to be open in 2024. This is also an infill MRT Station, the Hume MRT Station, which is in between the route of Hillview MRT Station and the Beauty World MRT Station which is scheduled to start its operations in 2025. With these extensions, it will increase the MRT service to approximately 44 km and will be serving a total of 37 MRT stations by 2025. There is also a planned extension to the Sungei Kadut MRT Station which will be scheduled to start its operation in 2030s.

The MRT Downtown Line will start its service route from the Bukit Panjang MRT Station which is in the North-West of the island. The Bukit Panjang MRT Station is also the terminus service station for the Bukit Panjang LRT Line which provides the feeder services for the residents living in the estates of Choa Chu Kang as well as Bukit Panjang. From the Bukit Panjang MRT Station, the MRT Downtown Line moves in the general direction of South wards and passing through the Cashew MRT Station the Hillview MRT Station as well as the upcoming Hume MRT Station before it reaches the Beauty World MRT Station.

At the Beauty World MRT Station, it then tilts towards the South-East direction and running parallel along the canal of Bukit Timah and stopping over various stations that is along the Bukit Timah prime private residential enclave. It will passe through the King Albert Park MRT Station, then the Sixth Avenue MRT Station, the Tan Kah Kee MRT Station, the Botanic Gardens MRT Interchange Station and the Stevens MRT Interchange Station. It then continues to move towards the downtown financial area via the Newton MRT Interchange Station and the Little India MRT Interchange Station.

The MRT Downtown Line will then have stopovers at the Bugis MRT Interchange Station, which also serves the MRT East West Line and the Promenade MRT Interchange Station as well as the Bayfront MRT Interchange Station which both these MRT Stations also interchanges with the MRT Circle Line. At Bayfront MRT Interchange, this MRT service line then tilts North West towards the Downtown MRT Station, the Telok Ayer MRT Station, the Chinatown MRT Station (which is also interchange for the MRT North East Line) and the Fort Canning MRT Station.

It then heads back again in the general East direction to arrive at the Bencoolen MRT Station and the Rochor MRT Station. This MRT service line then leaves the Central Area via the Jalan Besar MRT Station and heads toward the east region with stopover at the Geylang Bahru MRT Station and moves towards the industrial estates with stops at the MacPherson MRT Interchange Station (which also serves the MRT Circle Line), the Ubi MRT Station as well as the Kaki Bukit MRT Station. The MRT service line continues its journey toward the Bedok South MRT Station and the Bedok Reservoir MRT Station before it arrives at the Tampines Town with stopovers at the Tampines West MRT Station, the Tampines MRT Interchange Station (which is located in the Tampines Region Centre) as well as the Tampines East MRT Interchange Station before it leaves for the Upper Changi MRT Station and finally terminates at the Expo MRT Interchange Station. The Expo MRT Interchange Station also serves the MRT Changi Airport Line.

For future residents of The Myst Condo, they just need to travel 7 MRT Stations in the direction of the Expo MRT Interchange Station from the Cashew MRT Station where they could easily transit to the MRT Circle Line. The Stevens MRT Interchange Station is also 8 MRT Stations away in the same direction where it will also be serving the MRT Thomson East Coast Line. The Newton MRT Interchange Station is also 9 MRT Stations away where future residents can easily access to the MRT North South Line. Future residents can also easily transit to the MRT North-East Line which is available at the Little India MRT Interchange Station which is 10 MRT stations away. For them to travel from Cashew MRT Station to the Downtown MRT Station, the journey will be estimated less than 30 minutes.

For those who are driving, it will take them less than 30 minutes with the step of the pedals to arrive at the Central Business District and to the Orchard Shopping District, it will be approximately less than 20 minutes of driving. The nearby main arterial roads, i.e. the Teck Whye Avenue and the Bukit Panjang Road will easily link future residents of The Myst Condo to the Bukit Timah Expressway as well as the Kranji Expressway where they could interconnect to various other major expressways.

In terms of shopping and dining amenities, there will never be a shortage as The Myst Condo is just short distances away from various retail centres in this part of the island. Other than the retail malls, future residents can also easily get their hands on the cheap and delicious hawker fares with 2 food centres located within the 2 km radius of The Myst Condo i.e. the Bukit Panjang Market and Food Centre and the Senja Hawker Centre. The Bukit Panjang Market and Food Centre was opened in 2018. It has 28 food stalls with approximately 500 seats. This food centre, which is managed by NTUC Foodfare, has its prices moderated to ensure that residents here will be able to access to affordable local hawker fares.

The Senja Hawker Centre, which is scheduled to start its operations in early of 2022, will be located along the Senja Road, next to West Spring Secondary School. It will be the 2nd hawker centre to be opened in Bukit Panjang after the Bukit Panjang Market and Food Centre. This food centre will have sustainability theme and will be managed by enterprises which are socially conscious and will helo to curate and organize food options and events in terms of attracting more crowds.
