Transport Network The locality of Enchante Condo allows its future residents to choose between 2 MRT stations, i.e. the Novena MRT Station and the Newton MRT Interchange Station. The nearest entrance to the Novena MRT Station will be Exit B which is located near to the entrance of Novena Square. It will be approximately 500 m away from the development. The nearest entrance to the Newton MRT Interchange Station will be at Exit C which is next to the Bukit Timah Road, along the Bukit Timah Canal. Exit C will be approximately 400 m away from the development. The Novena MRT Station only operates the MRT North South Line while the Newton MRT Interchange Station operates both the MRT North South Line and the MRT Downtown Line. Depending on the resident’s needs, they could take a short stroll to any one of the MRT stations.
The MRT North South Line is one of the most comprehensive service lines in the Mass Rapid Transit network. The entire route is approximately 45 kilometres in length and with stopovers at 27 MRT stations. It is the first MRT service line to come into operations in Singapore. This MRT service line connects the Jurong Town which is located in the Western Region of Singapore to the Marina Bay area which is located in the Southern end via the northern towns.
Its route starts from the Jurong East MRT Interchange Station which also operates the MRT East West Line. It heads northwards to Bukit Batok MRT Station, the Bukit Gombak MRT Station and then the Choa Chu Kang MRT Station. Between the Choa Chu Kang MRT Station and the Bukit Gombak MRT Station, there will be a proposed addition of the Brickland MRT Station by the 2030s. It then continues its journey with stopovers at the Yew Tee MRT Station and the Kranji MRT Station. There will also be an additional Sungei Kadut MRT Interchange Station which will be completed around 2030s between these 2 MRT stations.
At the Kranji MRT Station, it then curves eastwards towards the Northern residential towns with stopovers at Marsiling MRT Station, the Woodlands MRT Interchange Station (which interchanges with MRT Thomson East Coast Line), the Admiralty MRT Station and the Sembawang MRT Station. After the Sembawang MRT Station, it then tilts in the direction of South and continues to the Canberra MRT Station, the Yishun MRT Station, the Khatib MRT Station.
It then enters into the Central Region of Singapore via the Yio Chu Kang MRT Station and head into the populous residential towns with stopovers at the Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, the Bishan MRT Interchange Station (which also serves the MRT Circle Line), the Braddelll MRT Station and then the Toa Payoh MRT Station.
The MRT North South Line then head down to the Novena MRT Station and enters the Orchard area via the Newton MRT Interchange Station. It continues to head to the Orchard MRT Interchange Station (which operates the MRT Thomson East Coast Line as well), the Somerset MRT Station and the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange Station (which also operates both the MRT North East Line and the MRT Circle Line).
It then exits the Orchard area and enters into the downtown financial districts via the City Hall MRT Interchange Station and then to the Raffles Place MRT Interchange Station. Both these MRT Interchange stations also operates the MRT East West Line. It then continues to the Marina Bay MRT Interchange Station (which the MRT Circle Line and the MRT Thomson East Coast Line are also available) and finally terminates at the Marina South Pier MRT Station.
The MRT Downtown Line is of medium-capacity and is the 5th MRT service line to come into operation. This fully underground MRT service line is approximately 42 kilometres in length and currently serves 34 MRT station. This MRT service line runs in the direction from the East to the West. It starts its route from the Bukit Panjang MRT Station which is located in the North-West region to the Expo MRT Interchange Station which is located in the East via the downtown core of Singapore.
At the Bukit Panjang MRT Station, the route heads in a southward direction with stopovers at the Cashew MRT Station, the Hillview MRT Station and then the Beauty World MRT Station. There will be an addition Hume MRT Station between the Hillview MRT Station and the Beauty World MRT Station in 2025.
The MRT service line then head south-east direction toward the King Albert Park MRT Station. It then enters into the Bukit TImah area and runs along Bukit Timah Road towards the Sixth Avenue MRT Station, the Tan Kah Kee MRT Station, the Botanic Gardens MRT Interchange Station (which interchanges with the MRT Circle Line), the Stevens MRT Interchange Station (which interchanges with the MRT Thomson East Coast Line) and then the Newton MRT Interchange Station.
It then heads into the Central area via the Little India MRT Interchange Station (which interchanges with the MRT North East Line). It then stopovers at the Rochor MRT Station, the Bugis MRT Interchange Station (which also operates the MRT East West Line). It continues its journey into the financial district via the Promenade MRT Interchange Station and the Bayfront MRT Interchange Station which both stations also operate the MRT Circle Line. It then stopovers at the Downtown MRT Station and the Telok Ayer MRT Station before it leaves the financial district via Chinatown MRT Interchange Station (which also interchange with the MRT North East Line).
The MRT line then heads northeast beneath the Singapore River and stops at the Fort Canning MRT Station, the Bencoolen MRT Station, the Jalan Besar MRT Station, the Bendemeer MRT Station and the Geylang Bahru MRT Station. At the Geylang Bahru MRT Station, it then continues towards the east direction via Ubi and Kaki Bukit industrial areas. It then heads towards the Eastern residential towns with stopovers at the Bedok North MRT Station and the Bedok Reservoir MRT Station.
It then enters into the Tampines Region Centre via the Tampines West MRT Station and stop at the Tampines MRT Interchange Station (which also operates the MRT East West Line). It then leaves Tampines Town via Tampines East MRT Station and stopover at the Upper Changi MRT Station before it terminates at the Expo MRT Interchange Station.
For future residents of Enchante Condo, they just need to travel on the MRT North South Line towards the direction of the Marina South Pier MRT Station for 1 stop to arrive at the Orchard MRT Station where they could access to the MRT Thomson East Coast Line. The Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange is also 3 stations away in the same direction where the MRT North East Line and the MRT Circle Line is readily available.
And if they use the MRT Downtown Line, it will be 1 station away towards the Bukit Panjang MRT Station direction to arrive at the Stevens MRT Station where they could transit to the MRT Thomson East Coast Line and 2 stations to the Botanic Gardens MRT Interchange Station to access to the MRT Circle Line. And 1 station in the opposite direction will be the Little India MRT Interchange Station which they could transit to the MRT North East Line.
