Notes:

  • If you are Nationals and Permanent Residents of Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein or Iceland or Nationals of the United States of America, please select “Singaporean” under “Nationality”.
  • Buyers will have to pay their stamp duty with 14 days from the date of the document (e.g. Tenancy Agreement or Sale and Purchase Agreement) for the signing of the document is in Singapore. If the signing of the document takes place in overseas that the payment will have to be made within 30 days from the date of receipt.
  • It is an offence not to pay the stamp duty. And also the document can only be made as evidence in court, in event of disputes, only if the payment for the tax has been done.
  • The amount payable will be based on the actual sale price or the market value whichever is higher.  
  • The buyer of the property will be responsible to pay the Buyer’s Stamp Duty whereas the seller will be responsible for the Seller’s Stamp Duty if applicable.
