The Gazania is an upcoming residential development that is located in the residential enclave of Bartley, North East Region of the island. It is located along How Sun Drive. The Gazania is next to Casa Rosa and opposite of Lushan Garden which is very close to Bartley Christian Church. The site of The Gazania belongs to the former residential development of Sun Rosier. The site was successfully acquired in September 2017 in a collective sales exercise. The site was acquired by a 50:50 joint venture between SingHaiyi Properties and Huajiang International. SingHaiyi Properties is a unit of Singapore-listed real estate developer SingHaiyi Group whereas Huajiang is controlled by Chinese tycoon Gordon Tang and his wife Serena, who are the controlling shareholders of the SingHaiyi Group. The Gazania has a total plot area of approximately 146,046 sqft and with a plot ratio of 1.4. The land tenure for The Gazania belongs to freehold. Other developments that are within The Gazania’s vicinity include The Minton, Jade Residences, Forest Woods, Suites @ Paya Lebar, Bartley Ridge, Bartley Residences and also Botanique @ Bartley.

When the site was put up for tender in 2017, it sparked a lot of interests from potential developers. A total of 4 bids was submitted during the closure of the tender. The top 3 submissions’ bidding price was very near to each other having a very close fight. SingHaiYi’s bid came up top with the price of $271 million which was approximately 15% more than the reserve price. This worked out to be $1325 price per square foot (psf) per plot ratio (ppr).
