Transport Network Lentor Mansion is approximately 400 m away for the Lentor MRT Station. This MRT station is located in the north of the Ang Mo Kio planning area and is right beneath Lentor Drive. This fully undergrounded MRT station is targeted to serve the community from the different residential neighbourhoods such as the Teacher’s Estate and the Lentor Estate as well as students and staffs from such like the Anderson Primary School etc.
The Lentor MRT Station was formally opened in August 2021. It was first announced as one of the 22 MRT stations that was announced for the MRT Thomson Line. The MRT Thomson Line was then merged with the MRT Eastern Region Line to form the MRT Thomson East Coast Line and the Lentor MRT Station belonged to the phase 2 completion of this merged MRT service line. This MRT station has a total of 5 entrances with the one that is at the upcoming Lentor central mixed development being the nearest entrance to Lentor Mansion.
The MRT Thomson East Coast Line is Singapore MRT network medium capacity service line. It is fully undergrounded and upon the full completion of this service line, it will be more than 43 kilometres long and will be serving 32 MRT stations. Till then this MRT service line will also be one the longest mass rapid transit lines that is driverless in the world. The MRT Thomson East Coast Line will run a combination of the east-west and north-south corridor. It will first start from Woodlands estate in the north and the passes through the Upper Thomson reaching the mature estates of Ang Mo Kio as well as Bishan and then heads south wards to Orchard and Marina Bay before it run east passing Kallang estate, Marine Parade estate, Bedok South estate than end up at the Upper East Coast estate.

The MRT service line continues moving towards the city fringe are Novena with stop the Mount Pleasant MRT Station and the Stevens MRT Interchange Station. The Stevens MRT Interchange Station is also one of the MRT Downtown Line MRT stations. It then moves into the Tanglin area to the Napier MRT Station and then enters to the city core stopping over at the Orchard Boulevard MRT Station and the Orchard MRT Interchange Station (which also interchanges the MRT North South Line).
It continues to head down to River Valley stopping over at Great World MRT Station and Havelock MRT Station before reach Outram Park MRT Interchange Station. The Outram Park MRT Interchange Station is a major transport hub serving 2 other MRT service lines, i.e. the MRT North East Line and the MRT East West Line. The MRT line then moves into the downtown financial district stopping over at the Shenton Way MRT Station and the Marina Bay MRT Interchange Station before it reaches the Marina South MRT Station.
The MRT service line then curves and heads the east direction towards the Kallang and Marine Parade estates stopping over various stations along the East Coast Prime residential enclave which include the Tanjong Rhu MRT Station, the Katong Park MRT Station, the Tanjong Katong MRT Station, the Marine Parade MRT Station and the Marine Terrace MRT Station. The MRT service line continues to head toward the Bedok estate with stops at the Siglap MRT Station, the Bayshore MRT Station, the Bedok South MRT Station and finally terminates at the Sungei Bedok MRT Interchange Station which will also operate the MRT Downtown Line. There will be extension in plan to extend this MRT service to connect to the Changi Airport MRT Station in the future with a proposed stopover at the upcoming Changi Airport Terminal 5.
For future residents of Lentor Mansion, they just need to travel 3 MRT station towards the North direction to arrive at the Woodlands MRT Interchange Station where they could easily transit to the MRT North South Line. The MRT North South Line is a high capacity MRT service line that is approximately 45 kilometres in length and stop over 27 MRT stations. It generally connects an incomplete loop from the West region’s Jurong and the to the towns that is located in the North Region of the islands and then heads south towards the downtown core with coverage along the way to some of the highly dense and populous residential districts in Singapore such at Ang Mo Kio, Bishan and Toa Payoh.

The Caldecott MRT Interchange Station is also 4 MRT station away from the Lentor MRT Station in the south direction. Future residents will be able to transit to the MRT Circle Line that is already in operation at this MRT interchange station. This medium capacity MRT service line is approximately 35 kilometres long and basically is a loop that is incomplete which will cover the downtown core/s Dhoby Ghaut, to the Serangoon and the Bishan district in the North and the Harbourfront towards the South With a comprehensive MRT network in place, future residents will find it hassle free to travel to any part of the island.
