Jden is an upcoming mixed residential cum commercial development located in the Jurong East Central, West Region of Singapore. The site of Jden has previously belonged to JCube Shopping Centre. The site of JCube Shopping Mall was rezoned to mixed residential and commercial usage in the Master Plan and the owners of the mall, Capitaland has decided to redeveloped the mall into a mixed development which will have more floor areas than the JCube Shopping Centre.

Transport Network

The Jurong East MRT Interchange Station operates 2 of the pioneering MRT service lines for the MRT Network which are the MRT East West Line and the MRT North South Line.

The MRT East West Line is of high-capacity and approximately 57.2 kilometres in length. This MRT service line is currently the longest serving the MRT network It serves a total of 35 MRT Stations and started its operation since 1987. The MRT line crosses the Singapore island from the eastern tip of Pasir RIs to the western end of the Tuas Link via the central of Singapore. It also has a branch that extends from Tanah Merah to the Changi International Airport. This MRT service line will bring future residents of Jden from the industrial estates of Tuas to the expansive township of Jurong. It will then head east towards the universities and polytechnics at Clementi town and Dover before heading into the downtown financial centre and the civic district. The line will have stops a several key MRT interchange stations located in the Central Business District and city fringe areas. It will also bring them to the popular food enclaves in Tiong Bahru and Geyalng before heading to recreational venues in Pasir Ris.

The MRT North South Line is approximately 45 kilometres in length and has 27 MRT station. This extensive and high capacity MRT service line started operating in 1987. It is an incomplete loop that connects the Central area in the south, to the northern townships of Sembawang and Woodlands towards the Western region of Jurong. It also runs through several mature residential enclaves. This MRT service line starts its route at Jurong East Central and heads north to the Bukit Batok and the Bukit Batok estates. It then moves to Choa Chu Kang and curves at Yew Tee and Kranji and moves towards the east to Woodlands and the Sembawang estates. The MRT service line the curves southwards Yishun, Yio Chu Kang, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan townships. After which, it continues south towards the Central area with stopovers at City Hall as well as Raffles Place. It continues to the southern coast with its termination at the Marina South Pier.

In the future, residents at Jden will enjoy even greater enhanced commuting with 2 upcoming MRT Service Lines right near to their homes. The MRT Cross Island Line is scheduled to begin its operations in 2030s whereas the MRT Jurong Region Line is expected to be completed in 2029. The neighbour will also be served by public buses that uses cleaner energies which inclusive of full-electric buses to be used for its feeder services by 2030.
