AMO Residence is an upcoming residential development that is located in Ang Mo Kio, a mature and established residential estate in Singapore. Ang Mo Kio is a densely populated residential estate that is 8th ranking in as the most populated estate in the country and ranks top 3 most populated planning zone for the North Eastern region. Before Ang Mo Kio was developed into what it is like today, this area was mainly made up of plots of inhabited land plots and with majority of its lands usage for the purpose of agriculture and also mostly swamps and secondary forest.

UOL Group has worked together with Kheng Leong and Singapore Land for this tender hold a 60%, 20% and 20% stake in this project respectively.

The 2nd highest bid received was from a joint venture Titus Residential, which has 2 of Singapore’s most established developers MCL Land and City Development Ltd involvements. The price submitted was 6.3% lower at $358.89 million which works out to be $1,052 per square feet per plot ratio. The joint venture between Sekisui House, Sino Group and Far East Organization had also submitted a bid of $353.33 million which works out to be $1,033 per square foot per plot ratio,
